There could not be a more fitting way to start the blog than to have my first post be about my sweet little neice, Delanie!

Her mom asked me if I could take some pictures of her before she turned 10 months, and I happily obliged. It just so happened that Lauren (my soon to be sister in law AND Delanie's mommy) knew of a sunflower field that she wanted to have Delanie's pictures taken. The photos that came out are nothing short of absolutely beautiful!

To say that I'm biased would definitely be an understatement, but isn't she just gorgeous? As the first grandchild on both sides, she is a special baby, to say the least. Her daddy, mommy, and her Granny Kim had to help me keep those smiles going. With all the huge, pretty sunflowers around, I was hardpressed to get her attention on me!
I took both cameras with me to the field, I use a Canon Rebel XSi and a Nikon D3200. The lighting was perfect, but I opted to take my speedlite with me, just in case. This proved to be a good move because of the shady spot we ended up in.

This was fun, to say the least! I hope I can bring many, many more photos of this sweet girl to you guys soon! Stay tuned for next week's post!
